What to Expect when Expecting a session
Its best to try and book your newborn session prior to your babies birth to secure a spot on the calender. Once I receive your deposit and contract I will give a call to discuss color schemes outfits and props.
Once your little one has made their arrival you can email, text or call me so we can confirm the time and date of the session.
Newborn session are best to take place within the first two weeks from birth. I'll be scrunching your little baby in to some supper cute sleepy poses and this is best done between 3-7 days old. When babies start to reach the two week marker their much more alert and harder to keep in posing position.
The day of...
Morning of the session I ask that if possible try and hold off feeding until I get there. I know this might very well be impossible so don't stress over it. When I get to your house I will ask you to get him or her down to a their diaper and wrap them in a blanket to start feeding them or at least top them off.
On the day of the session I will come with a heater, lights, props, hats, wraps and backdrops..it may seem like I'm moving in but I'm just an over preparer.
I will most likely take the photographs in the largest room in your house (and it doesnt have to be that large). I bring a studio light with me so I don't have to rely completely on natural light. The first thing I will do is get the room nice and toasty with my heater while the room is heating up I will start my setting up process this takes about 20 minutes.
